Business Sales Agent

Located at our National Sales Center in Livonia, Michigan.

As a Sales Representative for United Road, you wear many hats: problem solver, customer contact, expectation manager, customer hero, relationship builder and logistics black belt. Each day will present new opportunities to make quick decisions and build your book of business. You are the one and only as far as our customers are concerned and it’s your job to ensure they have a positive experience. Our target customers include car dealerships, rental car companies, auctions, leasing companies, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with provided leads as well as generate your own
  • Effectively communicate United Road’s value-add to prospective and returning customers
  • Negotiate with shippers and carriers utilizing our commitment to under promise and over deliver
  • Ensure daily shipments run smoothly so customers are served 24/7/365
  • Use effective and honest communication with customers
  • Accurate and thorough utilization of our CRM (Salesforce)
